By road: (from the north and south)
From the A19, take the A66 and follow the signs for Middlesbrough.
Follow the brown tourist signs for "mima" and leave the A66 at MARTON ROAD INTERCHANGE.
On the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Marton Road.
At BOROUGH ROAD/ MARTON ROAD JUNCTION turn right onto Borough Road.
Continue along Borough Road for 350 metres and turn right into Melrose Street.
Follow the road around the bend.

The car park is on your right.


Parking: Short stay paid parking is available at mima, free to disabled badge holders.

Fees: £2.10 for 2 hours and £2.10 per hour thereafter. 8 am - 6pm Mon-Sat (including bank holidays) £1.20 all Day Sunday
Motorcycles and blue badge are FREE

By air: Durham Tees Valley International Airport is 20 minutes away from mima.

By train: Middlesbrough train station is a short 10 minute walk to mima. As you leave the train station turn left and walk down to Albert Road. Then turn right and walk towards the town centre. We are situated on your left, a short 5-10 minute walk.

By foot: The main entrance to visitors is Via centre square facing Albert Road.

By bus: The bus station is located on Gilke street and is a five minute walk from mima.
